New Zealand String Quartet
Open Exploration
1:00 p.m.
Be part of the early exploration of a new work as James Campbell and the New Zealand String Quartet read a quintet for the first time. Timothy Corlis has composed this work based on West Coast Aboriginal artist Bill Reid’s carving pictured on the back of the Canadian $20 bill. Jim and the quartet will premiere this work in Toronto in November and take it to New Zealand in February.
